that's so cool hannah. I've discovered snakes are rather moreish. Was considering a corn or king but fell madly in love with my royal

Yeah my female is nearly 2 foot already and she is nearly 5 months old her body is getting big, she will fill out rather nicely methinks
Blackecho Posted - 27/12/2009 : 09:36:03
It is feasible for them (a very big female) to hit 6', but rare.

Wicked thanks didnt realise that they grew that big i spoke to a couple of royal python breeders and they said that they dont usually go much bigger than 3 foot long at adult stage in life got somewhat confused, Made me wonder whether the breeder actually sold me a burmese as opposed to a royal

Everything is all set for the snake, it's feeding on small mice atm. He is in my room so there is only really 2 people in there but as we both work there isn't much movement that goes on there. I'm really chuffed bout my royal it's settled in really well : )
spor Posted - 13/12/2009 : 22:24:24
congratulations. did you manage to get a thermostat and your temps at the right level? what size of prey is she feeding on at the minute.? remember to leave your snake for a week before handling and make sure it is not in a room were there is a lot of traffic as the constant movement of people passing will stress it out and make it difficult to settle.. good luck and enjoy.

this is were all the worrying beings as a new parent just remember that there are a lot of people here if you have any questions just ask or use the search option at the top of the page and you might find your question has been answered already.
