He/she is about 2-3 years old and is called Monty! Ill post pics whan I can. Coming with his/her viv so should not be to stressfull for him/her. my friend who is a breader said she will probe him for me at some point. Apparently I have been told that Monty has only ever missed 2 feeds with his current owner and he has had him/her for two years. And is feeding on large mice.
So thats a little about me and my soon to be Royal!!! No All I need to do is get to know the ones of you I dont already know! |

Posted - 13/03/2010 : 17:03:14 Yes, when you get him, let us know how much he weighs and as Chris says, 10-15% is just about right |

Posted - 13/03/2010 : 16:49:53 Hi and welcome!
You'd be aiming for a rat either 10% - 15% of the snake's bodyweight, or about the same girth as the snake at his widest point. |

Posted - 13/03/2010 : 16:25:57 I was thinking the same, but thought I will wait and see how big he is when I get him, but I do want to switch to rats anyway! Thanks for the thought though! What size rat would you recomend for that size royal?? |

Posted - 13/03/2010 : 12:42:15 Hello.
I might just say that mice for a 2 year old Royal might be insufficient really and would try to get them onto rats personally if possible. |
