Hi snake loving forum people

I'm not that great at introductions so I tend just to litter them with distracting pictures, lol.
Well, my name's Alanna. I'm a born Londoner but moved to Cornwall about 6 years ago, and then up to Yorkshire a few months back where I live with my fiance.

Also sharing my home are my two Alaskan Malamutes.

1) Stan - my not-so-little boy who will be 3 years old in July:

2) Maya - my grumpy middle-aged woman who will be 7 years old in November.

Disciplined working dogs through and through, as you can see :

I have two new additions to my family too. One is another Alaskan Malamute - a soon to be 8 week old girl who I will be collecting next weekend.
And last week I was joined by a young Royal Python who I have temporarily named Bruce (though being a youngster still hasn't been sexed yet and will probably turn out to be a girl, lol ) who is currently shedding it up a good one - perfect for settling in to a new home, eh?

Unfortunately I am awaiting delivery of new camera so won't be able to post any pics of my new addition just yet, but will be sure to get some taken as soon as.

So yes, I've joined the forum to help me as a complete newbie in learning more on my python as it grows. Look forward to learning more!

Alanna & Co x

Thanks Hannah! Don't encourage me with the dogs pics - you'll all end up bored senseless, lol.

I've been reading people talking about snakes as addictive - I think I can safely say mals are too (as you probably can tell by the fact I've got my third on the way)! Bloody stubborn pains in the arses mind, but for some reason I still love them, lol!

Thanks for the welcome. I'm in a small township between Knottingley and Castleford in West Yorkshire. Good to hear there are a few county locals - means I can be totally bothersome in asking about recommended shops and the like
