Hi there I'm new here, I am hoping to shortly get myself a hatchling Royal, so I am looking about getting all the info I can, all the how too's and why for's. I am in Consett Co Durham, do any of you good people know of good breeder or shop near here to buy a nice royal.

I have been to Coast to Coast in Darlington today the man in the store was very helpfull. I also go to Dunston Exotics for my food for Loki(Bearded Dragon) and Jester(Corn Snake).

Well I went this afternoon to see the baby royals, and I couldn't tell which one was supposed to be the pastel, neither could my cousin who is a lot knowledgable than me with snakes.

He was kept in large glass tank that was split in two with two larger royals on the bottom and three other young one's on the top, only two hides and a heat mat for each level. I didn't see any stats, to be honest if I had an extra £90 I'd have taken the other three as well. Even if I was to sell them on at a later date. Atleast they would have been kept properly.

I don't know much but the seller new less, IMHO, Too much open space, Too little cover and STAT?

Hi again I found an ad on preloved(pretty local) for hatchling royal's for £40 or £50 for a yellow pastel. Was wondering if this is a good price. I have been assured about them feeding fine. I am going to have a look on friday this week.

Welcome to the forum John. I'm a new owner too and have found looking through old topics on this site very useful for answering many of my questions :) Good luck on your search (sorry, I can't help on the shop front either!)
