Hullo!

Some of you might know me...but most probably dont lol, but im karl...was spikey or spikey666 or something like that on some forums...but im lazy on forums lol.

I got me 2 royals ....Nige...the old boy, theres quite a lot of history with him...il do that in a sec hes pretty big for a male, although hes not young, he was an 00 / 01 ...i never had an exact age, but i got him in 03 and he was apparantly 2 or 3 when i got him lol....hes about 5'2 ish and over 2kg..... but its not his size and age that matters so much, its his temperament and ...if its right to calll it "personality" then thats what makes him him lol......hes the super stereotype royal, really peacefull.....i mean this snake... can be wounded and not become even slightly agressive... and thats happened before..and he is a big faster.....he fasts seemingly in a weird pattern too... its like once every 2 years or so he has a mega fast.....not unheard of for him to do 8 months and lose maybe seemingly very little weight

Then i have pat...shes gorgeous, 3 yrs old female normal, shes not very big.... i cant remember exactly how big but something like 1300 grams and 4 foot to 4 and a half foot, but shes really nice...a bit headshy though

Then we have sparticus the yellow *possibly wild hybrid black and yellow* ratsnake.....rehomed in 03/04 hes awesome, he was advertised as non feeder, i got him home and he was almost a yr old looked about 2 months old.... immediatly took something like 3 pinkies and a fuzzy mouse... he had severe trust issues with humans, i suspect he was also abused becauuse he was unusually agressive, even for a snake with a bad rep for temper lol.....but after taking lots of little bites...... and not moving or even reacting..he began to trust me.... now he never bites me, he doesnt tail rattle or anything at me...but some people, very rare but...some people he will attack for seemingly no reason.!

His name was given for a reason, he was in a temporary tank when i got him a fish tank but i didnt have the lid for it.....so i used a bit of wood, a door off some bit of furniture, totally flat...something like that .....anyhow i knew they can squish into gaps so i thought "oh yeah ok try this 5kg weight slapped in the middle of this door then" .........about a week later he escapes, i find him, put him back in....exactly as it was before, and sat there for hours and waited lol and watched him do it again.....went up the side of the tank....he only had about an inch on the floor, and he shoved his nose in then flattened his head to about half of its normal height, wedged a bit of his body in and bingo!!! and he didnt even weigh 100 grams LOL

Then we have cleatus the 03 corn normal het amel, has mostly been quite a dopey snake, pretty big, no problems ever

Then marbles the gecko, hes cool as, hes pretty big... hes im not sure hes about 6 or something , never lost his tail and its BIG but not quite overweight lol

Well thats the snakes i got atm.... nice forum il stick a couple of pics up that im proud of later, hope to see u all around soon :)
