Posted - 06/12/2010 : 23:23:06 AH great. sorry just thought you may have picked up the 2nd one and put them together and maybe thats why she didn't feed. Apologies if it seemed like i was jumping to conclusions. glad they have both eaten for you. I started off with a normal girl then got 2 more then the morphs started. seriously hooked now if only i had more money and space. welcome again. |

Posted - 06/12/2010 : 20:51:04 Hiya royalbob, Yes they are seperate. One is in a 9l rub and the other in a small viv. One is 6months old and the other is two months old. Although it may appear to be an impulse buy (well the second one sort of was),it was pre-meditated and we had researched keeping a royal and even had a viv set up for a few weeks before getting the first one. Getting the second one was because i was'nt sure if the guy from the reptile shop was actually going to get one in, so found another locally for sale as a back up purchase. However, we got the one from the reptile shop and when we got it home the wife loved it so we decided to get the second while it was available.
I think i may even look at getting other variations next year, i really like the look of the albinos in particular, bumblebees, spiders etc.
Anyway both our girls fed on sat :-), the younger one was a little slow but got there in the end with a nice strike and the slightly older one was really keen! |
