I got my first reptile last saturday 30th of july for my birthday!!
He is called Percy. He is a natural royal. He has a teensy tiny bit of scale rot on his belly but it should go away after he sheds, ill take action if it doesnt.Very pleased with him and i hope he has a long happy life with me and my family!

You mean we should spell your name Lot O'Bob??

Only kidding - my grandparents came from Dublin - my grandma's name was Bridie McAvoy and she worked in the Guinness brewery.

Hi and welcome to the forum and good on yer for taking on Percy with that scale rot. Hope it clears up soon, and all the best.

ps, has it been diagnosed as scale rot - I only ask because any blemish or old scar can look awful just before a shed - have a girl I bought as adult who had this trouble and who was totally fine after shed. Or even if they don't have any blemish - the belly scales can look really scruffy before shed. All the best with him.

Welcome aboard to you and Percy!

(My Percy says 'Hiya')

Just out of interest, what setup have you got young Percy in? Any pictures?

P.S. Your Bio reads like an autobiography lol!
