Hi all, thought i'd say hi to all and introduce myself.

Firstly ill start with how ive been introduced to this fascinating world of Royals.

My son recently asked if he could have a snake for his birthday. I was a bit reluctant at first (never been a great fan of snakes to be honest) but my son and the Mrs eventually managed to persuade me.

As his birthday drew closer and he remained adameant that all he wanted was a snake, I started to take it a bit more seriously and realised i should probably look into what looking after and caring for a snake entails.

I managed to locate a local breeder and when my sons birthday came we paid them a visit. When we got there the breeder told us he had no baby Royals in He did however have an 8 month old male het Orange Ghost. We took it, along with a complete viv set up and made our way happily home.

After originally not being at all interested in snakes im now fascinated by them. Our snake is very tame and my son and i are enjoying every minute of it.

The breeder told me he was expecting some more stock in over the coming weeks. I think im gonna get myself one too

I would learn abit more about them, before you start thinking of breeding. You will get normals,Het Orange ghosts and Orange ghosts. So yeah you might get an orange ghost.

did the breeder state for sure its a het?and whats his rep like?and how much was this snake?

Just one quick question I had. The breeder told me that our royal is a Het Orange Ghost and if we bread it with a female Het Orange Ghost then we may get an Orange Ghost Morph, correct?

Also how can i tell for sure that it is a Het Orange Ghost? Ive looked at pictures of normals and they do seem to be a bit darker but im not sure. Im just curious because I want to know what to look for when Im buying my one. Thanks
