Hi and welcome to the forum Jamie I'm feeding Blitz live hamster, and when i bought Blitz he didn't eat for 5 months there is other royals python who will eat in thier very first day, so it's up to snake's personality.

yeah its normal for them not to eat if you only recently got them, it can take a week or two for them to settle in

By any chance would u no how long you should leave on the heat lamp and the heat mat on for in the tank, should i leave it on 20 4 7 or just a couple oh hours.

If its attached to a thermostat then you should be able to leave it on as the thermostat will tell what temp it is turn it on/off when needs be. If its not then check your thermometers regualy and turn it off/on when you need to. Although it really should be stated, if you havent got one you should try to get one ASAP. Oh, I almost forgot, welcome to the forum
