Slight change from the usual "my snake won't eat" threads...

Is it possible to overfeed a snake ?

My Annie didn't eat for the first couple of months or so after I got her so eventually (out of frustration) I offered her a slightly smaller meal which she took.
Since then she's eating every 5-6 days (always striking) and I have enlarged the prey again.
Will they only strike if they're hungry or is she just being a greedy cow ?
She is small / underdeveloped for her age due to a previous owner mistreating her. She's nearly 39 months but still only weighs 840g. She seems perfectly happy and healthy so I'm assuming (hoping?!) she's now just making up for lost time.

Only way to overfeed a snake is for the owner to mess up and offer too much, too big and too soon ^^ if you're sticking to a nice schedule and suitable sized food she should be fine :)

They are not stupid so there`s no need to worry, obviously she`s old enough to breed but nowhere near the right weight, so i`d say her hormones are kicking in and she`s chucking the weight on for breeding season.
I`ve got a 2kg female Bumblebee who`s banging back the rats faster than i can throw them in at the moment, its that time of year, another couple of months and she should stop and hopefully start producing eggs.
