Hi there, i wanted to ask about my snakes weight and length compared to age.
she is currently not eating as much as usual, initally lost a bit of weight but has started to move in the right direction again, so her stats are
weight 542g, length 3ft 2" age 6 months.
Does this sound ok or is she on the small side for her age??
Many thanks for any answers/advise with regard to age opposed to size.
thanks again

They all vary as you can get small and large royals as in any population but the weight sounds fine for a 6 month old

I would only start to get concerned if your snake doesnt eat for a long time and loses a lot of weight. You should monitor its weight during any fasting. Over the last 2 months my royal has eaten twice and put on 10% of its body weight. they are very efficient.

unless I had plans for breeding etc I don't really care about weight, size.

So long as the snake looks healthy, is eating, pooing, weeing and shedding as should be then it's kinda irrelivent.

Sounds fine to me, good weight for a 6 month old royal.
