I've personally never used moss before when Kaiser has gone blue, but I've been having a little read online about it. Kaiser has had a few bad sheds in the 3 years that's I have had him so I always try to bathe him when he goes blue. This has always seemed to work quite well but I just wanted to know how effective the use of moss in a hide is? I've heard that it can help keep the humidity up. I apologise if this has already been answered, but I would really appreciate anyone else's opinions :)

thank you x

I've tried moss but as above, it dries to quick. A twice daily misting works for my two & never had a bad shed......yet....

yep. another vote for daily misting. Although I keep a moss box in with the rainbow to get more humidity when he feels the need.

I'm not a fan of it. It dries out way too quickly for my liking I normally just spray the enclosure down when the blue fades

I tend to do what Derek said. When in blue. Spray the tank once or twice a day. Just to keep humidity up. I've had no issues with my royal shedding like this.
