As above, an LX will be fine, I use VX's, but only because I bought one of those first and wanted them all the same.

Oh right but i do think cornsnakes prefer a VX for climbing as they are not so slugish like royals.

Hope you do find monty dont give up !!

I had a friend that lost his 7month old cornsnake that escaped and he couldn't find it then he found it 6 years later i have no idea what it was feeding on but it must of been feeding on pest's (mice or rats).

An LX will stack on top of a VX or the otherway around its not a problem its only in height thats the only diffrance.

Are you the person from TCS that lost Monty ?

i just read your post, saw that thread as well, just wanted to know, i want to get a royal but am getting corns first again, like you, so if i need lx for royal i get lx for corns, if royals need vx, i get vx for corns, so then they can all stack.

The first one is better as if to much height the royal could climb and fall from the height and you will hear a thud noise so i have been told , i was told from BE to get the LX and not VX. Hope this helps
