Posted - 30/03/2011 : 20:16:21 ...a success! She wasn't very quick about it. Struck and constricted quickly enough but then proceeded to try to eat the rat starting at the armpit! Took her about half an hour of rolling around in the feeding rub trying to find the head. She found it eventually, ate ratty, I lifted her back into viv and she went first into her hot hide and then into her cool cave. Haven't seen her since... and that was on Monday!
Here's to 3 in a row at the weekend.

Posted - 30/03/2011 : 21:51:55 lOL - you haven't seen Snakebyte TV?
It's put out by Brian Barczyk, the American breeder, and it's pretty silly but very entertaining and even as I've said informative... in a daft way ... well, appeals to my infantile sense of humour lol. Except if they tease the snakes
Again congrats and may Kate go from strength to strength! |

Posted - 30/03/2011 : 21:37:56 No, it's fine BATS, like the banter and haven't found snakebyte tv so thanks for that!
Thanks for the good wishes. Everyone's advice is working so far. Seems like patience is key.

Posted - 30/03/2011 : 21:32:13 Umm you could try the word 'plonker'? And that goes for them all, but yeah, very entertaining and sometimes even informative.
Just really hate it when they tease the snakes and make them bite - that's rotten!
(sorry Steve, right off topic here.) |
