Here is a quick pic of lecter's new set up. the 100Watt cermaic bulb seems to be strigglin slightly to maintain the 30-33 degrees required, but for now it shall be ok till i get a 150Watt bulb!!

Looks taller then the normal 2 foot vivs :) 100w should be able to deal with that :)

What you measuring the temps with?I've found my lucky reptile thermometers to be alittle poor on giving the real temps.they seem to have a delay on updating the readout,Plus inaccurate junk :)

I had a stat turned up to max,as like you the bulb seemed to be struggling,Tested it with a temp gun,and it was 4c over what the lucky craptile thermometer said it was :)

Is that just a 2ft viv? would have thought 100w would be okay... obviously 150w is gonna manage a lot easier, and like you say if its not getting to temp you will have to go higher.

Very nice set up, always better when your snake is easier to see. Ive never been a huge fan of rubs.
