It seems there is a gap in the market for a business, unknown to me my partner posted a question on a fb group asking if there were any pet sitters in my area that would come to my house and water/feed/clean my collection out when we go away for 5days in September and it doesn't seem like there is. There's plenty for pets of the four legged furry kind but none that i have came across for exotics.

Does everyone else have this problem in your area or is there people out there that do this for exotics?

There are a couple pet shops that do boarding near me where I'll be taking the bearded and possibly my geckos but for my 12 snakes and arachnids boarding is out the question

Saw my brother yesterday and he didn't no about my 7 foot boa. And poo his pants in Starbucks. Let alone come to my house lol

I think family is the best option if you have someone living close. My brother is really into snakes but his girlfriend wont let him have any. He usually jumps at the chance to look after mine.

May not be scared of them but could they handle them after they were to have a grumpy striking day?

One of the people offering was going to charge £10 a day but she usually looks after dogs and cats but said she's not scared of snakes and stuff

Yeah you could come home to an empty house :P Unless it's a company or shop doing it.Where you can check them out before hand etc.

Seen people asking for dog sitters around here, the money they want to pay people is like £5 a week lol.

Holiday? What's that? lol. our local reptile shop Lost World Reptiles takes in boarders. Not heard of anyone else doing it.

I haven't got anyone around me either. Only thing close to it is my mate has a bearded dragon n he would look after mine but not sort my snakes etc.

There a huge gap for it and something if someone could set something up could have a lot of potential.

I'll have to look into that jonny, yeah i wasn't too keen on the idea either Chris when she got a couple of offers on her post. I've got a month to train someone in my family or friends to do the job lol

I think dragons den say if you have a large collection or any massive snakes then they will do house calls. I reckon they will charge a fortune though.

When I last went on holiday I asked for a volunteer to come sort all my stuff out, got loooads of offers from people all over the show but nobody who does it for a living.
