Hey guys, just doing some final testing b4 i put a snake or 5 anywhere
near my rack :P. I am currently using aspen bedding inside the rubs, using jsut enough to cover the bottom, though the heat reading ontop of the aspen is around 29degre c and when i push it to the side to read the plastics temp its around 35 give or take half a degree. So my question is should i take the heat reading from the base of the rub itself? If that makes sense...

Thanks, Matt

Yes from the base without bedding on it
Just move some aspen for a while then check the temp
The aspen will heat the bottom of the rub up
So you won't get a true reading
