Posted - 14/10/2012 : 01:01:32 hi there, ive got a question regarding the placement of the thermostat/thermomiter probes, on the hot end where is the best place to put these, i currently have them on TOP of the hot hide held in place with small cable clips but i have noticed some people have them IN the hide, my temp on top of the hide ranges from 91-92.5 on top of the hot hide, obvioiusly it is cooler IN the hide, is this right or should it be that temp IN the hide, im really confused now as to what is correct, my ambient temp is about 83-85 with the cool end about 75-80, does this all sound ok, my overall humidity is about 50 but this does fluctuate a fair bit the hot end humidity is in the high 30's and cool end is high 50's with overall (in the middle) at about 50 but it does drop down to about 48 and up to about 60 at times. sorry for the long winded post but just want to be sure that we have things right are we are going to be buying anohter viv to setup so we can seal matildas viv then once she is back in her home we are buying another royal so want to be sure we have it right :) many thanks if you got his far and thanks in advance for any help offered. |
