hi guys,
just wondering if anyone else has a verry arborial royal as mine seems to love his vines and branches more so than the hides and logs i put down for him. i know they are nocturnal but he is always on display and i even here him sometimes fall off his perch at night so it seems he never stops. has anyone else got a verry active royal like peewee? |

yes mine does not like being on the ground as she is always on the climb
i have a few branches going straight across the top an it had to get her off them sometimes when i want to handle her lol . shes only about 5 months old.

Wow - don't know - only seemed to be one way to fix my viv backs - but there again my brain goes to jelly at the sight of an instruction leaflet lol. Yes, if I could have the fixings on the outside it would be better, especially when they need retightening as they sometimes do, although I use aspen so that hides the bottom ones.
Forgot to say, Chris, loved the pics of him climbing, they're great! |

The back wall of viv exotic is the other way round so that the screws are on the outside and can't be seen from inside the viv? I may have took the vents out from how they came in the box so that I could have the fixings on the outside and not be seen from inside viv. It's alot more pleasing on the eye I think?!

Lol true It must be a bit mind numbing sitting their all day fixing them in, but at least they have a job makes a change now-a-days |

Ha - someone once said that about one of my vivexotics.
You can't fix the back on wrong way round because of the pilot holes - BUT the vents (which the hapless assembler, faithfully following instructions, thinks are supposed to BE that way round) are fixed firmly in, by some little guy who spends his days shoving them in wrong way round and chortling, 'hey, these guys are going to catch it on the forums!'

Chris that vent problem could be cause the backs on upside down lol, my female is a climber she's always around her bulb guard and on the floor after falling off lol but my male is deffo a floor kind of guy.. |

Haha... mine was looking so sorry for herself last night when I got into bed that I went and made her a make shift swing with a shoelace :P. I'm going to make her a nice branch to size but for the time being when I came in today she was coiled on it perfectly, just like a tree python. |

Duke must be too fat, he is a ground dweller for sure. He did climb the guard once, fell off and that was that. |

Yes, my Shahi was a great climber when he was younger. He's almost 2 now and doing the mating season fast so I don't see much of him at present, but I used to call him 'his royal highness' because he virtually lived on his climbing branch. |
