Was just browsing on Surrey Pet Supplies and found a 3ft viv vivarium for just over £40... Everywhere near me are selling them for around £60-£100 so it just makes me wonder if its not a good quality brand or something?
Anyway, heres the link to the vivarium, let me know what you think and if you think it will be suitable for my royal, Kaa :)
Thank you!

The hide box looks great. Gives a second level too, brilliant.

Hi janie,
Yes the height is 2ft (24 inches) width 2ft (24inches)
And length 6ft ( 72inches) I'm not sure if you can
see but I had a little hide box made which is 2ft long
The arch way into it is 5inches so big enough for
my girl to get through once she has eaten. It also has a lid so you can
get her out.

Hi janie, I have just had a 6ftx2ftx2ft which
will see my boa for life

Can't quite fit it all in the picture can give you there details
If your interested. Price was £159 delivered. Which I think is reasonable

LOL Steve got him out this eve, and he's still out mooching on him but wow he must have grown nearly a foot in the month I have had him

Yes - 2 of my royals are in lx36 vivs and they're fine, although the lads seem to prefer 48' - and Swellreptiles are very good.

I've only got one reservation about vivexotic flatpacks and that is that the window fittings can be flimsy. You have to wiggle the tracking about to accommodate the panes of glass - and even then you can find it loosening. A boa might be a bit too strong for this arrangement (mods let me know if its not ok to say this by the way.)

However you might be able to add extra stability to the tracking with aquarium sealant when assembling, but it's a point to think about.

It should be Janie but not that well up on boa requirements but I'm sure it would last you a couple of years

Yes swell are good I'm lucky enough to live a couple of miles away so never had anything delivered by them but BATS said they have a good delivery service.

Haha oh okay then! I have no idea when it comes to brands for equipment and stuff, so I just wanted to make sure :)

I have seen 3' vivs on ebay for £50
GMac Posted - 29/01/2012 : 17:53:45
absolutely nothing wrong with vivexotics ;) they are the most popular and possibly one of the best brands
blackskull Posted - 29/01/2012 : 17:52:23
they are much cheaper than stores, for a 3ft viv in my local stores its 100 quid.

i use the vx36 they are a bit deeper and a bit taller

surrey pet supplies no longer deliver vivs though, unless your gonna pick it up
