Yes, she's a normal, captive farmed ie hatched in West Africa from wild royal eggs and imported. She chose her name before I got her - I used to have a cat called Saada - it's Arabic for 'happiness' though she may be male in which case she'll have to be Saadya or Saadyeh, lol.
All my guys have names beginning with 'S' but I've always thought a good name for a royal would be 'Badger' because of the stripes on the head ... |

Posted - 12/02/2012 : 17:33:12 It was on Preloved - I've had some really good snakes from Preloved - Saada, Surahi, Missy, Shadrach and now Sulah.
I reckon I've been lucky - only 2 that I went after went wrong - one snake I had to pester about until the vendor told me it was already sold; with the other I'd made all the arrangements, and then his seller told me she couldn't bear to part with him after all ...which was fair enough lol. |

Posted - 12/02/2012 : 17:05:17 Wow, that IS good!
A year last November I got Saada, a cf09, with 3' viv, IR bulb and guard, dimmer stat, various hides including a large exoterra, loads of fake plants, driftwood and 3 decent chunks of java wood. All for £150.
Her kit alone would have probably cost £150 to buy new, and I got Saada as well. Plus she was well handled and shedding and eating well - shop 'maintenance' diet but I upped that a bit, and altogether a snake in good order. She was only being sold because her owner wasn't allowed to keep her in uni accommodation. I was very glad to have her. |
