Posted - 13/02/2012 : 18:29:55 Good afternoon all.....
can anyone suggest a better way to dispense water...i know there are a couple of dispensers on the market.
I sometimes have to be away from home for a few days and i know that the water in Monty's viv evaporates really quickly and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and overcome it with a solution????

Posted - 13/02/2012 : 20:30:22 why not get one of these, it should be good to keep your snakes thirst quenched. of course test the times in advance of needing it for real. http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dept_id=161&pf_id=8599&co=fr |

Posted - 13/02/2012 : 19:06:09 Never seen water dispensers - but, given the warmth in a royal viv, wherever the water is, it's going to deteriorate a bit ie slimy yuk.
However, this just looks disgusting but won't hurt the snake. Ideally personally I like to change water every other day, but, if you can't do that occasionally, I'd just provide a really big water dish, fill it to capacity, and leave it in the cool end, so that there's no chance of total evaporation. |
