bought my royal home Saturday he was in shed he has shed today offered him a rat about 45 Min's ago showed interest but didn't take i spent a good 20 mins making the rat dance!! lol
iv left it in the Viv how long shall i leave it in there and when should i offer food again?

thanks i wasnt really expecting him too as he shed today and still settling it ill leave it in there overnight then and offer again next week :)

Oh, sorry he didn't take, but sometimes they don't when they're new. Yes, a good idea to leave it in overnight, in the cool end so it can't go rancid, then if he's not taken it by morning, bin it and wait till his next feeding day - does no harm for a royal to miss a feed, and he'll be more settled down by then. All the best.
