My infrared bulb has just gone. Is anyone near Doncaster that has one tonight. Otherwise Leo will be a little chilly by the morning!
My spare is at work :(

i would have to agree here. i always keep spare heat bulbs as i never want to be in a situation where my snakes are without heat

Well he was OK. Went into maltby and picked up a new one and was having a nose around as I was fitting it. Hopefully he'll shed in piece now!

This is why I always keep a couple of spare bulbs for my lizards now! My Chameleons red bulbs never last very long!

My backup is a hot water bottle wrapped tightly in a thick towel in emergencies (Advice I was given by the breeder we got him from), just to keep him warm for a few hours while I sort out another bulb!

Tesco sell bulbs and are open 24/7 but if you are getting one tomorrow anyway I wouldn't worry about doing anything other than keep the room from dropping too cold.

Sorry to hear this. I'm sure things will be ok. Hope you get this sorted first thing Tomo though

Pop a blanket over the viv (without blocking air vents) to keep in as much heat as possible until shops open in the morning.
I'm sure Leo will be ok until then.

Take one out of your own lights.
As long as you have a dimmer thermostat a normal household bulb will be ok in an emergency...
