Hi not been on for a while but all is good with Cowbag (oops her real name was sky)

She is now approx 15 months old and weights 705g. Always been a good eater and moved from mice to rats without batting an eyelid (ha ha cos she aint got any to bat)

I have offered her food for the last three days but she has just left it.

My question is - how often do people offer their snakes food when they may be fasting? It could be quite costly offering her a fresh rat every day hoping she will eat.

I stick to their normal feeding regime. They have 2 choices...eat or don't eat!

When they fast I normally slow it down to about 1 feed every 2 weeks for adults :) for juveniles I offer normally every 10 days or so
