"Ghost - Also known as Hypo or Hypomelanistic. The “Ghost” is a recessive mutation that reduces the black pigmentation. Although there are many different lines of ghosts, they generally follow the same general description. Ghosts are varying shades of yellow, brown, grey and green. Their sheds are always clear much like albinos, with faded dark colors with a faded head. A ghost will always appear to be in shed or always seem to have a hazy appearance."

There are a ton of variations of ghost, just to add to the concussion

Could you check the 'Ghost' please..I was reading my genetics book and it says Ghost = Axantic x Woma.
So if that is right a het ghost would carry the genes?

a true ghost is an axanthic x hypo, but a lot of hypo's are also known as ghosts to confuse everyone

                | anatess | Posted - 20/10/2010 : 15:40:30 Yeah, the hatchlings are "shimmery"... unlike the Potions that are more "smoke" colored. My guess is they'll lose the "shimmer" and become more charcoal looking. It's just amazing what a Fire gene can do!

 EXCELLENT JOB, BE!

Check out the Mercury morph. It's currently my "drool" morph. It's a super cinny x fire.

Yes, very nice indeed, wonder how they look as adults though (not sure there are any about yet).

Yeah, I'm really interested to find out too. I think they made the first ones either this year or last year. It would be really cool to see a breeder-sized female.
