new improved setup for one of my female heterometrus spinifer's(asian forest)

heterometrus swammerdami(asian/indian forest) that molted last week

heterometrus petersii(asian forest) munching a roach

venom on his telson from stinging the roach

some of the heterometrus spinifer scorpling's

mid molt

mum of the babies

my pandinus imperator(emperor) commune, one molted a bit wonky a few week's back an the other 2 are due to molt soon

one of my pandinus cavimanus(red claw)

and my Protoiurus kraepelini(no common name) that should hopefully molt before long

they are very cool thing's to keep, if you want to handle them then an emperor would be best as most are quite docile whereas the asian forest's are pretty defensive.

yea the forest variety emperor's are quite a bit bigger than the savvanah/grass land emperor's, problem is it's going to be almost impossible to find an female for him due to the import ban so plan to get a female emperor to breed with him which should hopefully produce some big offspring.
a pinch would be fairly painful i think, once emp's get to a certain size they stop using the stinger(teslon) so if they cant overpower the prey with the claw's(pedipalp's) they don't eat.
ive got a paper somewhere about a study into them not using the singer after they get to a certain size will try an find a link an post it up

Excellent there Chris. I would like one of these but keep debating it.
