Its a sad day, one of our yearling females died sometime since last night.

Yesterday I went round and fed all of the snakes, many kept on Lignocel substrate. Those that didn't strike feed I left the thawed rodent in overnight.

So when I went upstairs to remove any rodents left, I was horrified to discover Flikka a lovel Cinnamon curled up on her side..not moving, she had died.
On closer examination, her mouth was crammed full of lignocel she had choked.

I post this as a warning to others, I never dreamt it possible. :(

I'm sorry for your loss but is there any way you could have prevented this?

Seems like it was just one of those freak and unhappy occurences
