My royal and boa (both males) have both been fasting for a few months now. Not really worried as they have both lost minimal weight but they are a lot more active since fasting. Is this normal as they all looking for a female? I've never seen my boa out from his hide unless I've just cleaned him out or in the middle of the night and now he sits out on show all day. Would be great if he would just eat as well lol

It's totally normal. They've got lady snakes on the brain and their instinct tells them the ladies aren't going to come to them so they get their wander on.

My male royal is out loads since he stopped eating but he is my only male so I couldn't say if it's normal but it's been nice to see him out and about in his viv.
