                      | Hey everyone, this is my first snake ever and I hope everything will go good! I have been reading a lot about these snakes and hope I will do a good job with my snake. I also hope to get some tricks and tips from other users on how to keep my snake happy and healthy!
Well, feel free to drop me a message anytime. I would appreciate any tips also.
 Thanks,
 Daniel

I am from South Carolina. Is there a lot of "Americans" on this forum? I am originally from Brasil though and also lived in Germany for 8 years, so yes, I speak German, English and Portuguese.
From what I was reading, Royal Pythons is just the right name for the ball python. The Americans call the Royal Python a "Ball" Python because of the way it curls up when it feels threatened. Let me know if I am wrong.

                      | I do have to say that I have been doing a lot of research and I have to admit that I had no idea a snake needs that much care, but I am really excited about it all. I am one of those people that did buy the snake at a Pet's store and didn't get the viv ready before putting the snake in there, and at the store that people there didn't tell me anything about it needing a big water bowl to swim or dip in, they didn't tell me about the feeding problems they can have, they didn't tell me about a warm area and a cooler area, so I am glad I did research and I am going to hook her up ASAP! Any beginner tips would be very appreciated. I will also take some pics and post on here for y'all to see my snake. I do not have a name yet, but my girlfriend and I like "Sahara", but we'll see! :) Please post any comments or beginner tips, I would really appreciate it! Thanks guys!

                      | it's just better to let them settle as moving home can be stressful and put them off their food |

                      | Hiya, as previously stated wait a week before feeding or handling, our gorgeous babies can get stressed easily but if all is done well, they're simply awesome |

                      | Yes, the hardest part is going to be letting it settle in without just 'needing' to pick it up for a bit .
Some people suggest a week or 2. Personally I don't handle until they're had a couple of feeds, just to make sure they're settled.

 Have fun

Yes you're right, that's why I was asking what you call it, being from America. We have a few American members, but only one that posts much - Anatess.
