hi there every1!! bought a royal on sat and shes beautiful! im worried that im doin it all wrong so came on here for friendly advice! all tips on all subjects welcome! thanx alot x |

hi shes settlin in ok we think. shes quite active. havin trouble gettin the temp up but other than that all is gd thanx! gonna take some pic's tonite! |

i had noticed that! lol well thats gd for me so i aint complainin!! ok got some more questions for ya! u ready.....how long do i need to leave the fuzzys out of freezer before i can feed her? how many should she take or should i offer? also do i put her in a diff box to feed her cos of the substrate and how long till i can put her back in her viv after eatin cos will she bring it up again? she doesnt strike she takes off the floor! need advice by thursday!!! cheers ears! |

I tend to leave mine out all day and then heat up and offer in the evening.

Do you know how it was fed before it came to you? - Royals move up to Small Mice or Rat Pups very quickly.

It is recommended, but some can be fussy eating out of their viv. You could put something down like a bit of cardboard to eat off if so.

I'd give it 10 mins and then just carefully lift back in with minimal movement. |

and when you find something that works getting your Royal to feed, write it all down so you can do the same again next time. Queenie only eats white mice, the second time you've wiggled it in front of him (after he's hugged it for 10 mins the first time) and only first thing in the morning. i will try varying this when he's a more established feeder though. |
