As everyone knows I'm new to Royal Pythons and want to know everything I can about them before "The Big Purchase" so...

What is this winter fast all about?

Is it just for breeding purposes or is it a must in every Royals life?

Do you do this yearly routine from birth or is it something you start from maturity?

Please let me hear everything everyone has to say about this subject!!

I have not brumated any of mine, it is not essential, but can help with breeding (so when a female is 3). Some males will voluntarily fast during the breeding season.
