Hey Guys
i am new to the python circles, but i love them! i am getting my first royal in a few weeks after the quarantine period is over,
i would like to know more bout behaviours... how do they look, react when they are angry? what is signs that they are going to strike?

you guys are all in the UK?
i have a few questions on pythons if you dont mind me asking, i have done A LOT of research on them but no one says anything on there behaviour anger? what is sign that they will bite or how do you know NOT to touch them? i really have a BIG passion for these small beast, i love them! :):) |

I asked someone that question once, this is the answer i got:
There are obvious reactions where they look like they may bite, these are hissing and tensing the neck into an "S" shape (they don't always do that though... i learnt that the hard way LOL.
Generally they are nervous snakes and will just curl up into a ball, but once they get used to you and their surroundings they will unravel quickly and start to explore, usually with their tongue flickering.
I was also told that apart from the above things, their behaviour is pretty hard to describe, that once you have had your snake for a while, you start to pick up on their body language and notice what they do and dont like...
:D It's all fun though :D

thats helps a lot... and also prove my theory... that you need to get your own snake and be bitten
before you can be an expert! :) but i am so looking forward to it!
i am afraid that my atrium is going to be too big... will this be a problem for pythons? |

by atrium do u mean the vivarium/tank?
Too big *can* cause issues with royal pythons, on the whole they seem to prefer smaller enclosures.
What size is the python you are getting? and what size atrium to do you have? :) |

Not talking to you now Nick after saturday's match  . I really thought the Lions had you guys beat. The Lions were leading 16 - 8 or something when I went to go help one of my sons with his homework and when I got back to the TV the 'boks had drawn level and got a penalty!! I'm still sulking today
