                      | how well can snakes hear or do they reley more on sense of smell to know whats going on, I know they can feel vibrations when something is near to them?????????? |

                      | I'm not sure, but when i was feeding Montiiee last night he was more than happily swallowing mr mouse. All of a sudden a few local loud mouths walked past our place shooting there mouths off, Montiiee rather hastily disappeared into his hide. Still ate it, but definately disturbed by loud noise.

                      | i have lost count how many times i have had a conversation about snakes hearing.. 
 some say they cant hear and others say they have an inner ear..
 
 i think they can hear sound up to a certain distance..but that is juts my own observations of my snakes...

                      | not as good as our actual hearing as they possess and inner but not an outer ear structure, but loads more sensitive to vibrations than we are |
