| HEY EVERYONE, HAD MY FIRST BALL PYTHON FOR 3 WEEKS NOW SO ALL ADVICE IS REALLY WELCOME!! HES EATEN TWICE BUT HASNT POOED YET? THIS THE NORM? WAS GONNA HAVE IT TESTED FOR PARASITES AND STUFF COZ HE LOOKS A LITTLE UNDERWEIGHT. WHAT DO U GUYS THINK? BEEN LOOKING ONLINE AT ALL THE MORPHS AT NRED ETC, THEIR AMAZING, BUT WOT DOES 'HET' MEAN?!ANY TIPS ARE WELCOME X |

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
Its totaly normal for royals not to poo between their meals, mine goes every 3 weeks or something silly.
Unless its Wild Caught (WC) its not really worth getting it tested I dont think. If hes a bit under weight chances are hes just a bit fussy with his food.
"Het" basically means hidden. If a Normal royal is Het for Albino, it will look normal, but have a hidden Albino trait that cant be seen. It can then pass on the trait to its offspring. |

| Hi thanks for your reply, I though that was the case with the 'het' thing! Cant you tell Im blonde!! Ive had 'Boris' ( i know its terrible, that y I love it!!) for 3 weeks on saturday and hes eaten twice so I dont think he's too fussy. Hes on a small fluffy mouse. And other ideas y he would be underweight? Would the fact that I dont think the guy that sold him 2 me had him in the right conditionns contribute?? x |

It might do if the temps weren't right, but Royals really are fussy with there food so just because he ate well this week doesn't mean he eats everytime. It's a royal thing- you'll get used it  |
