hi i'm mike. Just got back into snake keeping after a long time away. Got a wee cracker, called Kaa. He's 3 months old, eats 2 fuzzies a week like they are going out of fashion! He's fantastic and everyone loves him. Will post a portrait soon. Look forward to speaking to you all. Take care Mike :-) |

Hi Mike, not surprised he's going through the fuzzies, I think you could try a much larger prey item. |

heya and welcome
does he eat mice fuzzies or rat fuzzies? mice would be very small for him, if he's regularly eating 2 rat fuzzies have you tried him with something bigger yet? (although weaners are HUGE!) |

Hey mike, Im new too. Boris is about 5 months and Iv just changed from a fluffy mouse to rat pup every 5 days or so. Ive heard rat weaners are huge so how bout two rat pups at one feeding? x |

As GP says, you can get Rat Fluffs too which are the size between pups and weaners and as Kay says a couple of rat pups is an alternative. |

thanks very much for your info on feeding, have increased feeding to 3 fuzzies until they're finished, he's fixed on mice so will move up to weaners or small adult mice, any good places to order frozen mice from would be much appreciated. last time i weighed him (a week ago) he was 120g. just fed him 3 fuzzies, he took them, two without constricting, just straight down the gullet yey! tried to feed him a fourth but he kept getting the tongs, rather than the mouse so gave up, for the moment, don't want to stress the wee soul. |

I would miss out small mice if he's that weight and you're sticking to mice. Straight to medium. |
