Never understood why ye' olde fashioned armour doesn't cancel out the zombie apocalypse? Can't really see a zombies teeth matching plate armour :/ Could just stand in the middle of 100 of them laughing :)

id just go to work! plenty of guns and ammo, enough food to last forever (although its rations so not so nice) and its in an old school fort so easy to defend with limited numbers. royal marines, tup-three! lol
