I posted the other day regarding a bad shed, a bath and baby oil, cause my little lady Ariadne unfortunately had a really bad shed and even retained her eye caps, and I don't mind admitting I paniced as in the two years of owning royals it was the first time it had happened, so I decided to bathe her with a bit of baby oil in the water thinking since it was ok for babies it must be ok for my snakey baby, and as soon as I put her in she decided to have a drink (much to her disgust) so I promptly took her out and tried rubbing her down with a dry towel.
Anyway it's been a few days now and last night I got her out so I could clean her viv out as it looked like that scene from bladerunner when that exotic dancer replicant had been killed and there were hundreds of indivdual snake scales everwhere lol, but whilst holding her she decided she was either extremely hunger or she just wanted revenge as she decided to firstly kill my hand then try and eat it, (and yes lotabob I've got the pic's to prove it lmao). So fed her tonight which she took with her usual gusto so I'm guessing her little drink has had no ill effects thank goodness. |
