Got loki out for handling this morning and had a lovely time. Went to put him back in his viv so just put my hand in with him wrappaed around my wrist. He normally just slithers off into his hide and thats it but today he sat on my wrist for a moment then dipped his head into his bowl and drank!! still wrapped around my wrist!! Then he did the usual and went off to hide. It was just amazing to watch him drink so close up and so confidently whilst sill hanging on to me.

Its brill when they do this isn't it. These serpents always find ways to keep us fascinated.

Some of ours drink while being held, it never grows old.
Pippin, our carpet python, will happily take and eat his mouse while wrapped around my hand, very weird to watch.
