| just lately my bee has been v.active and excitable. he's still fasting but as soon as i pull his rub out he is wobbling and corkscrewing like crazy (especially when i offer him a feed) and its starting to worry me a little. he's never been the wobbly type before now. is he just excited or do you guys thing something more sinister is going on? he hasnt lost any more weight since i last weighed him 2 weeks ago so is sitting steady at 700g. |

| Just regular spider behaviour I'd say - Sometimes I barely notice Angel's wobble other days she's crawling on her back and licking the windows :/ |

At the risk of causing WW3 again, I'd say thats the spider gene doing its thing. Maybe only certain things trigger your bee to get the wobbles
As long as he is eating, shedding etc then he should be fine |

hes not eaten for quite a while now due to the season... just the first time he's really cracked the spider wobble since i got him about 18 months ago. strange animal. makes his periscoping look really weird!

| I love the spider gene, but it drives me crazy! Some snakes don't exhibit their wobble for years. As long as feeding and shedding go on as usual, it's nothing to worry about. |

| It is quite likely to be the aforementioned spider gene BUT it's ALWAYS worth checking the general health of your snake if something suddenly changes.How long has the fast been now? Pinch test to make sure there is no dehydration, re-check your temperatures, make sure the thermometers are working. You'll kick yourself if you miss something obvious by writing it off as spider gene. |

| Yeah, think il crack a double check today. Everything was ok temp etc wise a week ago tho. Cheers for the input guys. |

| My male spider used to do that but as he's got bigger and older he has stopped he still wobbles his head up and down a little but only at feeding time but that is because he is excited I think they are all a little highly strung but hopefully as your spider gets older the corkscrewing will stop just has my spiders has |
