Hey guys! :)
As stated in my introduction, I am new to theworld of keeping royal pythons. And I currently do not own any. I will be looking to purchase my first one hopefully in the next few months.
Basically, I just wondered if anyone could offer some advice on which morph would be good to start off with? Ideally, I don't want to spend a HUGE amount on my first snake but if something catches my eye then somehow I think the budget will go out the window! I am looking at mainly having the snake as a pet but with the possibility of breeding in the future.
Something that I have seen a few times that really appeals is the Bumblebee.

Morphs are a personal preference kinda thing. It's all about what looks good in your opinion and what you can budget for.
The one thing I will guarantee. The more you look, the bigger your budget will become Day 1) "I really like the look of that pastel" Day 5) "A hidden gene woma, pastel, granite, fader, enchi for £20k? That's not half bad" |

Cheers guys. I completely agree. I've only been looking a short while and already I can see the budget stretching further and further haha.
Any idea roughly what a Bumblebee would cost? Just roughly as I'm aware different breeders charge different amounts. |

I would never want to buy from a shop unless I knew the snakes came from a reputable breeder. Thank you everyone, I know these may seem like pretty basic questions to you but your help is much appreciated :) |

Some shops breed their own stock, Its always worth asking the question.
Four of mine have come from retail outlets that breed their own |

I got my little guy from a store (they breed most of their own) but he was an import from the Dutch show. And I must say they have been fantastic help.
Either way make sure the store or breeder has a good reputation and will give you support help if required |

I know a family that have two home bred female bumblebees for £450. Beautiful little hatchlings they are too. Based near Spalding, Lincs if that's of any interest to you.
