Im new here and just had a look at the sticky "Snake Weight by age"... Long story short, My CB11 (now 14 months) is 40" @ 1300g. He's in perfect health but after seeing that post im thinking he's a bit fat now

typical lazy royal then. what weight are the weiner rats? going by the 10-15% rule i would be feeding him rats that are 130g+ every 2 weeks |

the small w/rats i give him are generally 90-110 grams but the next size up (large weaners) are a bit big for him i think. I got him one and he really looked like he was struggling with it, so I thought I'd wait a bit before giving him another. |

I'd make sure you're feeding the right sizes first |

Yeah he looks ever so slightly due a poop in that picture. Weigh him again after he releases that demon.. Weight to length suggests he is on the heavier side of the scale but until they are empty they can be misleading as you are weighing everything they have eaten since they last went to the toilet and that also tends to make them look a bit chunky at the dirty end. |
