Here goes for my Jurassic Park themed background. I want something funky that has lots of texture incase I get one of those climbing royals

Here's what I started with once I'd stripped it back as best I could



Here's after an hour of furious chipping at polystyrene




As you can probably tell I was too enthusiastic to just do one bit and had a go at everything.

I can't wait for Saturday to finish it off and get some grout on it!

Finally done and it looks bitchin'!! Just got to varnish now. Since I've been so busy I didn't get a chance to upload my progress.

So here's after the grouting:

I'm pretty happy with it. I means it's very 'homemade' but that's why I love it!!

are you planning to move the ceramic fitting away from the side a bit?

Do I need to? Oops. Didn't think it as a problem. I did try to move it before but I think the previous owners must have really wanted it there as it won't shift. Do you think it will be ok?
