Hi every 1i have a question for all you morph experts out there. i was showing my girl off at my local reptile club last night and there were 2 people there that were adamant she was a firefly now im no expert but i told them no she wasnt i was sold her as a pastel but they were 100% sure she was a firefly so i didnt argue with them :/ anyhows i went home and had a wee look online and found this pic

As i said im no snake expert but i must admit the similarities between that and my girl are huge (not the best pic but the only 1 i have of her on this phone)

So can some 1 clear it up for me and tell me as i dont realy know :/

A good way to detect fire morphs is the head, they always have a very clear "smudge" on it whereas normals sometimes have a bit of blushing or brightness it's not normally as defined as the fire.

sorry to butt in on this topic but do pastels vary a lot in yellowness? (a made up word I know lol) Boris is very pale yellow but Ria is almost orange.

Royals - Sas, Boris & Ria
Boas - 1 called Titch until we can think of a name for her!
Cats - Felix, Becky, Max & Willow

Oh yes pastels are a huge variety in yellowness - we recently got a bunch in to the shop and it's amazing to think they're all the same morph.
