I know the champagne is an aggressive gene in that it dominates over most others.
I do like some of the combos bred from it and it a stunning animal in its own right, but what do you think of them? |

Im not a big fan of most the morphs as like you say it takes over.... but i seen this on bhb new video and i love it

| I love the champagne gene, but I like the reduced patterness of it. it isn't the best combo maker, but a nice pastel champagne, or butter champagne is very nice. enchi champagne is just mind blowing, adds the pattern back in!!! |

So if you bred a champagne to an enchi..then on to pastel etc maybe the pattern would remain..its a morph that hasn't been worked like most others.

the enchi only adds back a certain amount of pattern, not loads and loads.
the champagne was a gene that was very underated. and wasn't worked with much, but within the past year it has picked up again, and loads of people are working with it again now, so expect to see a lot of hatchlings available this season |

| Thanks Carl..aye Danny I was considering adding a Champagne cos apart from spending 1000's it offers plenty of scope to produce firsts although as you say it has been picked up again. |

you wont be spending 1000's on a champagne this season trust me, they have come down in price a lot, males from 500-700, females from 700
there are a few combos that haven't been done with the champagne yes, but I bet they will be discovered in the next season or two |

I need to develop some nice combo gene males to breed back to our Sterling Hypo so I guess our signature line will be Hypo at least for now.

| Im gonna be after a Champagne within the next year hopefully. With the aim of producing Albino Champagnes, really do like them, especially the 'bubbles' you get with the morph pattern. |
