Is it normal for my ball python to vibrate? It's nothing too noticeable, but when he is just sitting in his hide, if I touch him gently I can feel a faint vibration, kind of like a cat purring. Is this him snoring or? |

Are you sure its not something nearby that's causing the vibration? |

No it's definitely him, it's only when he's sleeping. As soon as I start to pick him up, he wakes up and it stops. Not sure whether it's all the time or just sometimes, he's not aggressive at all though. |

In the end I worked out it was his scales rubbing over each other as he breathed in and out. Was only detectable when he was totally relaxed when sleeping. |
