i have a 2 foot viv which i shall be moving my royal into within next 3-4 weeks.. only thing im trying to make up my mind on is heating.. do i continue to use her lil heat mat if so, which type of tile was it that gets laid on it ceramic or lino??? or do i swop over to heat lamp..

I'd swap to a bulb if you can get a gradient in there.

was looking at a 40 watt basking bulb same as i have in corns viv(his iss 100 watt).. would tht be ok?

It doesn`t really matter on the wattage as if you need the temp at 90f then they will both get their. Its just that the 40w will have to work harder so wont last as long as the 100w.
You can use a ceramic tile or lino for a heat mat.
