Had my snake nearly 2 months now. My snake is called Stumpy - cause the end of it's tail is bent. Not sure how old it is, when I bought it they said it was last year's hatchling but did not know the precise age. Up to now Stumpy has been great! It spends most of it's time wound around my wrist or moving up and down my arm. This last week it's been displaying aggresive behaviour in it keeps striking out at the glass whenever I go near the vivarium. Found this forum when looking for information as to why this may be happening. Any advice?

Any fast movement will cause any snake to respond by either backing away or trying to take a 'pop' (strike) I'm guessing that you are not doing anything different in your approach so has anyhting else changed in and around it's viv that might be a cause of a change in behaviour ? are you still able to handle it without any adverse reactions ?

Bienvenue! Do you have any other pets in the house that might be in view of the snake? Is it exposed to any constant vibrations like tv or stereo?
