Hi,
I am a complete novice when it comes to snakes/reptiles!
The only contact i have had with snakes was the other day when i went to a safari park and my girlfriend held a 4ft Royal Python! I wanted to hold him next but he started to curl up into a ball and the keeper put him away.
I have never really been to sure about snakes! I know this is a wierd request but would anyone who lives near me be willing to let me come round and handle their snake? Maybe have them teach me the ropes before i look at getting one?
I live in Worthing West Sussex. |

What a great idea. You'd be welcome to see mine, but the wrong end of the country. Good luck. |

Cheers Blackecho! Might drop DJ reptiles an email and ask if i can go up and get a few handling poniters etc and see what its all about! Just dont want to buy a snake thats gonna live 20 odd years if im just not gonna get on with them! Would rather be armed with the know how first before diving in feet first! |

smart . as hannah said as well reptile shops should let you handle. if they dont then don't buy a snake from that shop. |
