hi everybody i have just bought my first royal python its 2months old and i have had it 1 week i have 6 corns and 1 sinolian milk snake that are all doing well my question is the snake keeps yawning and has a very mucas mouth it is blowing bubbles its breathing seems to be very slow and opens its mouth every time it takes a breath am i right to be worried
It sounds like the start of a R.I (Respiritory Infection). A visit to the vets is nessesary im affraid. Caught early enough it is nothing to worry about.
hi dazbthe temps are around 84 to 86 and the viv is heated by a heat mat that covers half the viv the cool end a little lower in temp he has a hide and a water bowl thats all
hi again just been in touch with shop i bought it from they said put temp up to 90 and remove water bowl they also said to take it back they would sort the problem and if i wanted i could take another snake instead
